TexVisions Ribbon Cutting
HARRISBURG (October 31, 2013) Yesterday, in conjunction with the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC, Tex Visions held a ribbon cutting/grand opening celebration to mark its recent graduation from the TechCelerator@Carlisle and move into its new facility located at 10 Pine Hill Drive, Carlisle.
Since their beginning in 2004, Tex Visions has evolved from a startup company to one of the world’s leading manufacturers of display hardware and custom large format printing. Today, they are able to offer their products and services across the United States and Canada, along with the Caribbean, Latin and South America. Marcel Ruhland, the company’s President, came to the U.S. from Germany at the age of 23 and launched the company. Tex Visions chose Murata to begin its business because it is a central location for the northeast industrial center. Murata also offered discounted utilities and provided an advisory board to help with business development and education.
Tex Visions ran out of space at Murata and decided to build its own building so they could produce their products more efficiently. “Murata provided us the space we needed for our staff and also accommodated our need for production space as we grew,” stated Ashley Werner, Marketing Manager. “The company utilized the business center’s programs to continue education about economic growth through annual reviews and maintained relationships with advisory board members. Through a certified sponsor (Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC), Tex Visions was granted a $2 million loan from the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority to construct its new 60,000 square foot building.”
Congratulations to Texvisions on their ribbon cutting and grand opening! Below are a few pictures from the event.
